After a long list of misunderstandings between him and Harmonize, Ex WCB manager, Joel Vincent Joseph (Puaz) decided to ditch the over-hyped recording label, WCB. Nevertheless, this did not stop Joel Vincent from serving other well-deserving artists in East Africa, and from the look of things, his efforts have just started paying out.
The expedient talent manager, who goes by the moniker Mr. Puaz, had remained a strong pillar to the success of Wasafi records, being not only Harmonize’s manager but also a reliable consultant to the labels in matters concerning lyrical compositions and music production.
However, in a deeply emotive conversation with Pulse live, held sometimes in early January, the talented songwriter and talent manager explained that he would no longer continue to serve as Harmonize’s manager. Regardless of this fact, Puaz was willing to collaborate with Wasafi records for any other upcoming projects.
As per the information reaching our news desk right now, Joel Puaz has been nominated for a very lucrative award in the imminent STARQT Awards for the “SUPPORTIVE MAN” category. The Supportive Man Award is granted to contributors in the African music industry who have shown commitment in honing, managing and supporting various talents in the Industry.
Mr. Puaz’s contribution to the success of East African artists is very evident in the likes of Harmonize and there is a likelihood that he might just bag this award. This is the 6th STARQT Awards event since its inauguration.
