Dancehall crooner Redsan is now the talk of the city after he allegedly beat up Producer Sappy. The two gentlemen have worked on numerous projects together. However, their row began right after Redsan questioned the producer about a number of songs that he had failed to release. According to Sappy, the artist did not pay for all the songs. Hence, there was no way he would release the songs without being paid. Pulse reported that the singer stormed Sappy’s Studio on Tuesday night. He was forcefully demanding for the Master Collection to his Baddest Album. Moments later a row ensued between the two and the producer received a thorough beating from the Yule Pale crooner.

Now, most people might not be familiar with Sappy’s work. Nonetheless, if you are a stern follower of Redsan’s music you’ve probably had a taste of the producer’s best works. One phenomenal track birthed from the two is the 2015 hit banger “Shoulder Back”. Last weekend, Redsan released his new album alongside Tiwa Savage and Demarco. However, it was reported that the artist did not recognize his loyal producer in his new releases. This was a total letdown, especially on Sappy’s end. Actually, every artist is obligated to give credit to a producer. Beat compositions are the proprietary works of the producer.

Photos of Sappy after being beaten by Redsan are still circulating on social media. The entire East African Blogosphere has shared its mixed reactions towards this beef. This controversial story comes at a time when Tiwa Savage is still healing her wounds. The singer was recently disappointed by Kenyan event organizers. Tiwa found herself in the wrong hands of Kenyan promoters who allegedly left her stranded at a Kenyan hotel. Tiwa had accompanied Badder than most singer Demarco to grace Redsan’s event. However, she was in for a big shock after the promoters failed to meet her demands. After the event the singer tweeted:

“Checking out of the hotel and full accommodation not paid for, no car to take us to the airport and promoters want to talk trash about artists… Funny how everyone is asleep and phones are off after the show but they blow up your phone when they need you for radio and press runs before the show, ”
