TOXIC – Britney Spears (KHS, Casey Breves Cover) Review

Kurt and Casey Breves are back in the studio with a recap of Britney Spear’a single Toxic. The song, which debuted back in 2003 was nominated for over 10 awards including MTV Australia Award for Sexiest Video and the Kid’s choice award for favorite song.  It’s been a while since Kurt partnered with Breves but when the two are in studio everything just falls into place. The initial song was produced by Bloodshy & Avant and recorded in Murlyn Studios.

This video garnered close to a hundred thousand YouTube views in under a day, meaning that most people still revere music done in the 2000’s.  The comments too were on fire. This song follows Hugo’s previous cover of a sky full of stars which he did in India alongside Neeti Mohan and Rushil.

It’s surprising that KHS was able to replicate the beat so well to give us a touch of the 2000s. This cover will please anyone who enjoyed Britney’s Music back then. Actually, the song is just as sensational as Spears performed it at the 2004 NRJ Music Awards. The original singer sang it in three of her tours across the world.  Enjoy!
