Even after being bashed by his colleague gospel artists on producing “secular-like” music, Willy Paul has turned a deaf ear to his would-be adversaries, releasing yet another new song Sikireti, ft Jamaican Dancehall artist, Cecile. Only recently, the Bora Uhai singer was cautioned by Hope Kid to sing true gospel music like Sitolia.

To the surprise of many, the ordeal turned sour for the Am blessed singer, with mixed reactions and dirty shades being thrown at the artist. Allegedly, Willy Paul and his supporters attacked the artist both directly and indirectly, some calling Hope a “duck trying to advise a pig”, both play in the dirt you know.

The new song tagged Sikireti Reloaded (secret) features Bad Gyal Cecile and comes just after Poze hinted doing a new collaboration with Jamaican queen Samantha J. In under 7 hours after its releases, the new video garnered over 23,000 streams on YouTube. This new banger is produced by Saldido Records and has almost the same feel and vibe in the lyrics and beat, as Digiri. Actually, some of the phrases in Sikireti lyrics can be traced back from the artist’s previous songs.

You might argue that it’s regurgitated content, although Badgyal’s verse is epic. This song will definitely become a banger both in Kenya and Jamaica, just like Alaine’s collabo Yes I do. East African artists are slowly being inducted into the international musical scene, particularly by Carribean musicians. This explains why the likes of Wyre and Redsan are constantly working on collabos with international dancehall artists.
